Difusor was an encounter that gathered up to 100 international stencil artists who work in the street, in the summer of 2007. It’s goal was to foster a reflection on some of the aspects that urban art is bringing to light such as the uses of the public space and it’s increasing regulation.
[flv:http://difusor.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/Difusor-2007-1.flv 450 338]It’s main characteristics were that all the activities were free and open to everyone, the massive presence of artwork in the public space, with more than 700 square meters of walls and the aim for an organised response to the zero tolerance new laws coming from the City Hall.
