B-Murals
B-Murals is a specialized center for urban art based in Barcelona. It is a pioneering and unique project due to its comprehensive approach, combining support for creation through mural interventions, residences, and exhibitions, along with community work, education, reflection, and the dissemination of this discipline with the aim of making it grow and bringing it closer to the general public. This mission is carried out through innovation and sustainability, the promotion of critical thinking, and a commitment to culture as a tool for social transformation.
Main axes
Located in a converted industrial complex functioning as a self-managed cultural space, B-Murals has a strong vocation for connection and interaction with the territory while maintaining a universal spirit and international scope. The project is driven by Difusor, an entity that has been working for over a decade in promoting artistic action in the urban environment.
Awards
B-Murals has been awarded the Time Out 2017 prize for Best Innovative Project and the Lluís Carulla 2018 Cultural Entrepreneurship Award, presented by the Carulla Foundation.
