Openwalls Conference (OWC) was an international meeting that adresses public space artistic interventions, from two main strands: a seminar and a bunch of murals in Barcelona’s public space.
Openwalls.info was inspired by great experiences like the Open Gallery in Barcelona, and it developed an approach that has been functional and sustainable over the years. We’re proud to have made a positive impact on coexistence in public spaces and breathed life into the districts and cities where we’ve worked.
Galeria Oberta was a project promoted by Difusor that aimed to transform the wall enclosing Parc de les Aigües, on Abd-el-Kader Street, into an artistic space open to all creators who wished to participate.
Difusor was an event that brought together, in the summer of 2007, more than 100 European artists working with stencils on the streets. Its objective was to encourage reflection on some of the aspects that urban art is highlighting, such as the uses of public space and its increasing regulation.
